For convenience, all sizes on the site are presented in three main systems at once.
- European size EU=EUR=FR is the standard European shoe size, the most common in the post-Soviet countries.
- American size US=USA is the most common size in the West. Usually all sneakers have both European and American markings.
- Foot length in cm – usually indicated on shoe tags and boxes as JP=JAPAN=CM. This column indicates the foot length in mm or cm, for example 275mm or 27.5cm. This size is indicated on tags to the right of the European size. Do not confuse this size with the Chinese size (CH=CHN).
The most accurate way to determine the size is by the length of the foot.
Therefore, we recommend that you measure the length of your foot before placing an order and choose the size based on these parameters. You can also measure the length of the insole, but this method is less accurate, since the insole can deform during use of the shoes. And some insoles have a characteristic bend in the heel area, which should not be taken into account when measuring. The insole is measured to the end only if there is no bend at the heel. If there is a bend, you need to measure to the beginning of the bend of the insole. As you can see, there are many nuances in insole measurements that can cause an error. Therefore, we recommend, first of all, relying on the length of your foot when choosing shoes, and using the length of the insole only as an additional method, for example, if you are choosing shoes as a gift. Below are detailed instructions for measuring the length of the foot and insole.
How to measure foot length:
Place your foot on an A4 sheet of paper while standing, make marks with a pencil or pen at the longest toe and heel. Measure the distance between these points, be careful - the distance should be measured parallel to the sheet of paper, NOT DIAGONALLY.
How to measure insole length:
If there is no bend in the heel area on the insole, you should measure the length of the direction between the edges of the insole. If there is a bend on your insole, you should measure before the bend begins!
The second most accurate method for determining size is to check the sizes indicated on the tags of your shoes.
This method is only the second most accurate because different manufacturers may mark shoe sizes differently. For example, you may have sneakers of two different brands, both pairs may be EUR 44, but the JAPAN column (centimeters) on one may be 28, and on the other - 28.5. There are other situations - you may have two pairs of shoes of different brands, both will have the same column 27 cm, but different EUR sizes, one 43, and the other 42.5. Please note - if you rely on the sizes indicated on your shoes - these MUST be sports shoes, sneakers or trainers. Choosing sneakers based on the size of shoes or sandals - would be incorrect!
Trust our many years of experience in the shoe sales industry – different manufacturers and models may have significant discrepancies in EUR, US and JAPAN sizes. EU 44 does not always = 10 US, and 9.6 US does not always = 27.5 cm. Obviously, to accurately determine the size, you should measure the length of the foot, all other advice and consultations you will receive from our managers when placing an order!
Sometimes there are situations when men or teenagers need a size smaller than 40, and women - larger than 41. There is no sedition in this! Just choose any unisex model (suitable for both men and women) and the required size. A model is considered unisex if the size chart simultaneously includes sizes for men (41+) and women (40 and less). Such models do not differ in anything except size. Therefore, if necessary, sizes smaller than 40 will fit men and teenagers, and sizes larger than 41 will fit women . This is an absolutely normal practice, just choose a model and size, and do not let anything bother you, because the shoes will 100% fit you.
So, to determine the correct size you need:
- Measure the length of your foot according to the instructions provided;
- See what sizes are indicated on your other sneakers (see all sizes, Euro, American and centimeters)
- To be sure, you can additionally measure the length of the insole according to the instructions provided.
In any case, our manager will always help you when placing an order!
